De Boucherville à Sorel-Tracy

The route first follows the La Riveraine bike path, with views of the river and its islands. It then moves away to cross the farmlands of the Montérégie region on roads with shoulders, requiring a little more vigilance, but still with a very moderate gradient. Fields, forests and marshes alternate with picturesque villages featuring charming ancestral homes and buildings bearing witness to the rich past of Varennes, Verchères and Contrecoeur, before reaching Sorel-Tracy.
